Keep all your thoughts and ideas in an organized environment also protected with a custom password for multiple users to create journals. #Create diary #Write diary #Journal writer #Journal #Thought #Feeling
Having to keep your thoughts together can be tricky by the end of the day, especially with a busy schedule. However, if you have to work on a computer most of your time, then specialized applications like Diary can help you keep all notes in an organized environment secured with a password so nobody snoops through your ideas.
Every time the application is launched you’re prompted by a login screen which asks for a username and password. One can be created on the spot, and is thus possible for multiple individuals to use the same application on the same account without interfering or snooping through one another’s data.
The edit area represents most of the space, with an upper toolbar for some basic operations, as well as a calendar accessible from the lower side of the main window. Saving notes is done at the press of a button, but even if you access the source TXT file, text inside it is obfuscated to prevent others from accidentally stumbling upon your entries.
You can start writing on the spot, or paste text, because there’s no built-in option to load any kind of file, not even TXT. In terms of visual customization, the application makes it possible to change font style, attributes, size, and effects, but not the color. What’s more, these changes apply to the entire document.
Unfortunately, entries are not saved according to day, with all text visible in the same edit area every time you log into your own account. There aren’t any delimiters, or options to quickly insert timestamps, so you need to make sure you include the date for easy identification. There’s also a search function to help out.
Bottom line is that the computer helps with all activities, and Diary is sure to make it easy to write down your ideas. Although it comes in a lightweight, intuitive package, it feels a little rough around the edges, with a poor set of customization options, and no possibility to save individual entries on days.
