If you believe your memory can't be fully trusted it's time for computer applications like MyContacts to do what they're created for, and that is to remember contacts so you don't have to.

The application spends most of its time hidden in the system tray so it doesn't take up any precious desktop space. It's also packed with a pretty intuitive interface, customizable with different color themes for both the contacts manager, as well as the scheduler component. If it's your cup of tea, there's a portable version to use on the go.

There are two built-in tools, but you're free to use only the one you consider better suits your needs. Separated by tabs, each unveils its set of requirement fields and corresponding controls. All contacts and tasks are saved in a database you can back up at any given moment and even save the file under the AK format.
