The name PICK stands for Personal Inventory Control Kit. PICK was designed to be a total house inventory tracking program. The intention of PICK is to give you one place to keep track of all the stuff you own - serial numbers, product numbers, where it is, what it is, etc. We're all supposed to have a total house inventory for insurance purposes, but very few people actually do it. PICK makes it easy to create and maintain this important list.
