IMG2GPS 2.81

Transfer Map file to GPS fast and easy.
IMG2GPS is a very easy to use freeware Windows tool supposed to allow you upload map files to your Garmin GPS with just a few clicks.

The interface does nothing more than to confirm that IMG2GPS is a user friendly application, relying on a clean layout, with all options displayed right in the main window.

In other words, IMG2GPS's main window lets you configure not only the connection type between your computer and the Garmin GPS device, but also upload speed and mapset name.

What's more, the program boasts a dedicated tool to erase GPS, but don't forget to make a backup before hitting this particular option.

Additionally, you can easily upload new maps just by hitting the “Load” button, with the overall time needed to complete the process depending on your settings and connection type.

Designed to work exclusively with IMG map files, IMG2GPS doesn't also feature a help manual, so in case you need assistance on one of the features, you have no other option than to search the Internet.

IMG2GPS works okay on all Windows versions, and we'd recommend using the USB connection type, it's the fastest and the most stable, thus staying away from any connection issues that could appear.

All things considered, IMG2GPS is a handy piece of software for all Garmin GPS owners who wish to keep their map files up to date. It boasts an intuitive interface and easy to configure options.
