Microsoft Mathematics Add-In for Word and OneNote is a comprehensive and reliable piece of software that integrates into the interface two programs it supports, offering you the ability to insert complex mathematical formulas into your text, with minimal effort.

Following a brief and uneventful installation operation, you will be able to find a 'Mathematics' tab in your Microsoft Word or OneNote ribbon, so you can access its functions more easily.

The addin features three main buttons, namely 'Equation', 'Compute' and 'Graph', while also allowing you to choose the type of numbers you intend to work with, either 'Real' or 'Complex'. You can select the types of angles you prefer, between 'Radians', 'Degrees' and 'Gradians'.

When clicking on 'Equation', a menu will reveal the existing options, for instance 'Area of Circle', 'Binomial Theorem', 'Expansion of a Sum', 'Fourier Series', 'Pythagorean Theorem' and several others.

From the 'Design' tab, you can select the type of equation you want to use, such as 'Fraction', 'Script', 'Radical', 'Integral', 'Large Operator', 'Function' or 'Matrix', being able to determine the constituent elements in just a few mouse clicks.

Moreover, the 'Compute' function allows you to calculate the result of a certain mathematical operation, solve an equation, perform 'Algebra' calculations, run 'Differentiate' or 'Integrate' operations, as well as determine 'Matrix' results.

The 'Graph' menu enables you to use the input data and create a 'Plot in 2D' or 'Plot Both Sides in 2D'. You can also generate a 'Plot in 3D' or 'Plot Both Sides in 3D', run 'Plot Inequality' or edit the generated graph to fulfill your needs.
