Multi String Search

As suggested by its very name, Multi String Search is a piece of software whose purpose is to help you search as many string occurrences as you want simultaneously and get the results in real time.

Before anything else, it is worth pointing out that we are dealing with a portable application, which means no new items will appear in your Windows registry, and no installation is required in order to start enjoying the program’s features.

Regarding the software utility’s GUI, it is worth pointing out that it is rather minimalist, letting you focus on the practical side of things. It comprises two main boxes, one for the input, the other designed to prompt you with the results of your query.

By default, there are a series of rows to give you an idea about how the search is carried out, and in order to modify any of them, you simply need to double-click them and apply your modifications. Needless to say, adding multiple new rows at the same time is also possible.

A series of settings are available for you to resort to in order to customize your search. As such, it should be pointed out that each row comes with its own set of options. For instance, “Translate” should enable a translation task, “-CaseSense” could be used when you don’t want to distinguish between case-sensitive and case-insensitive, and “SubP” is meant to turn on Regular Expressions subpatterns search.

It is also worth pointing out that a well-documented user manual is integrated, both for basic use as well as for situations when you want to employ regular expressions. Regarding Multi String Search’s performance, it should be said that it worked without hiccups during our tests, so you could give it a shot.
