PDF Rider is a freeware Windows tool that provides a pack of useful PDF editing utilities, all of them comprised in a very easy to use interface.
You shouldn’t spend too much time trying to figure out how to use the program because it sports quite a user-friendly interface, with just a few options available at your disposal.
Once you open a PDF file, PDF Rider lets you perform a series of actions accessible via the “Tools” menu.
You can for instance insert new pages or extract some of the existing ones, delete or rotate pages, merge documents, burst a file into single pages or tweak security settings.
Most of these tools require minimum computer knowledge and offer just a few adjustable parameters. The security screen for instance allows users to set up a password needed to access the PDF document, but also a different one for editing purposes.
You can obviously select the options you want to allow, with available items including printing, low quality printing, copy contents, modify annotations and fill in modules.
It’s pretty obvious that PDF Rider is not at all a resource hog, but it’s important to note that it requires a PDF rendering software, such as Adobe Reader.
All in all, PDF Rider can come in handy to many users out there who need basic PDF editing tools. It doesn’t affect system performance at all and works quite fine on all Windows versions on the market. What’s more, it’s free and requires only minimum computer knowledge.
