The program includes options to quickly find and replace text. TxEdit also supports a drag and drop interface to easily open text files directly from the desktop. Large text files of up to 10 megabytes each can be edited and printed using this editor.
TxEdit will automatically load and save Unix and Macintosh formatted text files as well as normal Windows ASCII text documents. This application gives you the possibility to use text macros (to define custom text and phrases that you use often and to insert them with just one click).
TxEdit can be configured to launch your favorite programs and development tools.
