Form 1099-MISC Miscellaneous Income1.01
Form 1099-MISC Miscellaneous Income is a software application that enables you to fill in the 1099 form. This has to be filled with the IRS for payments made through your trade or business.
For example, you have to fill it in if you have sold real estate in the previous calendar year, made at least 600$ from rents, services, prizes and awards, or if you had made any fishing proceed.
The setup process does not take very long and does not pose any issues, while the interface you come across is quite simple, seeing it only contains a menu bar, a few buttons and a pane in which to view the actual form.
Although Help contents are not included, this app is suitable to both power and novice users, mostly due to its minimal and intuitive GUI.
Options available and save the form to the PC
This software solution enables you to submit the Copy A of form 1099, by mail to the IRS, as this one requires you to submit it on their page with their special ink.
This app lets you input the information in the main window as you would type it in the actual report, yet when printing it, you just have to input Copy A in the printer and only the data will be written.
In addition to that, you should know it is possible to save the resulted item to a custom location on the hard drive or any other portable device, using a FRM format. This feature enables you to finish filling in the form at a later date or create a backup for it.
It is possible to cut, copy, paste and delete items, undo your actions, adjust the left offset and top offset, preview the report and print it with just a click of the button.
A final assessment
The computer’s performance is not going to be burdened in any way, and all jobs are going to be finished in a timely manner. The interface can be handled by all user categories and we did not come across any errors, freezes or hangs in our tests.
All in all, Form 1099-MISC Miscellaneous Income is a simple, yet useful piece of software, created specifically for business owners which have specific income to report.
