Unicode Font Viewer
There are various tools of imputing and editing text on the computer, and considerably more letters and characters, but not all of them are available in these tools. However, there are applications that can let you make use of any existing character. One of such is Unicode Font Viewer.
It is roughly a database containing all true type fonts, and all of the characters associated with them.
Easy navigation through the variety of choices
Everything the application has to offer is placed in the main window, which is the only one, so you don't have to browse through multiple tabs to waste any time, given the amount of data you are given.
All of the fonts you can choose from are placed in a column on the left side, characters available for the selected one, a grid in the middle, and on the right side you can view the final selection in any size ranging from 2 to 256.
A minor inconvenience would be the fact that it lacks a search field, which would have been useful to save you just a little more time.
Info on characters and export methods
When selecting a character, its full name will appear in a field below the center grid. Furthermore, the number of characters on the current block you have selected is displayed, as well as the unicode, in case you need it.
At the bottom of the main window there is a field where you can add multiple characters which you can copy into any document, given that it supports the font.
Unicode Font Viewer is a fine, straight-forward application which you can use to find and get almost any kind of character. It's a neat tool for when you have to work with specialized words or symbols that you don't normally find on your keyboard.
