Across Lite is an intuitive application that can be used to test one's knowledge by solving puzzles.
Crosswords for solving in Across Lite are in individual files (one for each puzzle) with the filename extention of .puz (e.g., sample.puz). This way, you can easily share them with friends or download new ones from the Internet.

- Both Across Lite program and installation are digitally signed by Literate Software to ensure integrity.
- Vista and Windows 7 themes set by user reflected in window and toolbar.
- Problem with printing too many copies on some printers on Vista or Windows 7 fixed.
- Crosswords maintained in Across Crosswords folder by default under Documents in the user's profile unless changed by user.
