GENViewer Lite is the limited and free version of GENViewer, and it only contains the General, Individual, and Family views. GENViewer Lite is a genealogy application that helps you understand who are in your genealogy files.
First of all GENViewer Lite doesn't allow you to enter any information about your genealogy - you must use another genealogy application to do this. GENViewer Lite works with GEDCOM files created by your favorite genealogy application.
GENViewer Lite directly reads GEDCOM, PAF 3-5, TMG 4, 5, 6 and 7 (The Master Genealogist), Family Tree Maker, Legacy 3-7, RootsMagic and Temple Submission genealogy files.
