In order to run the program correctly and avoid bumping into all sorts of errors, you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 on the target PC.

Protect Your Eyes is a portable utility which can be opened without administrative privileges. Plus, it does not store entries to your Windows registry and leave other settings files on the host PC. Getting rid of it implies deleting the files that you have downloaded from the Internet.

A double-click on the executable file is sufficient for accessing the tool’s GUI. You may also store it on pen drives or other portable devices to have it with you all the time.

Protect Your Eyes reveals a clean and straightforward layout that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters on the fly. A help manual is not included in the package but you can get an idea about how the utility works in a short amount of time thanks to its intuitive looks.

The application gives you the possibility to choose between several predefined time intervals from a drop-down list. You may also set up a user-defined time value.

When the time is up, the tool reveals a popup notification letting you know that it’s time for a new break. The notification can be closed with ease and you may still continue to work on your computer in case you have an important project to finish.

Tests have shown that Protect Your Eyes carries out a task quickly and without errors. It does not eat up a lot of CPU and memory resources so the overall performance of the system is not hampered.
