Periodic Table Explorer Portable is a complex software application which helps you analyze the periodic table, as well as view information about important chemists throughout history and other facts.

This is the portable version of Periodic Table Explorer and thus, it can be used on any computer you have access to, by simply moving the program files to a portable storage unit and clicking the executable. The interface is quite straightforward and encloses a menu bar, a few shortcut buttons and a panel to display all sort of information. It is accessible to anybody, even people with little to no experience with computers.

You can open a window with the periodic table and clicking on an element will bring up a new window which presents all available information about it, including abundance, discovery, density, critical temperature, melting point, uses and hazards.

It is also possible to display all sort of graphs comparing all elements according to basic properties (atomic volume, melting point, symbol etc.), abundance, discovery, hardness, electrical or elastic properties and so on.

Biographies of all people that have contributed in some way to chemistry are available, along with the atomic structure and radius, electron configuration of all elements, a molecule viewer and pictures of all elements. Moreover, the program includes a calculator, which enables you to convert temperature, find out the molarity from mass and volume, and so on.

Taking all of this into consideration, it becomes clear that Periodic Table Explorer Portable is a useful and complex piece of software, dedicated to people passionate about chemistry, or students eager to learn about it. Unfortunately, it has some compatibility issues with Windows 10.
