This is the portable version of WordWeb, a tool that you can use to look up words in a vast dictionary.
Since installation is not necessary, you can simply place Portable WordWeb on an external device and directly run the executable file on any computer.
But, more importantly, there will be no changes made to your Windows registry keys.
The interface of the program is plain and simple. You can input a word on the top part of the screen and press the "Search" button or "Enter" key.
So, you can check out its definition, synonyms, antonyms, types, derived words, as well as web references (e.g. such as Wikipedia).
But you can also jump to the definition of the noun, verb, adjective or adverb form, copy a selected word to clipboard, add bookmarks and view a random word.
In addition, you can set default web references, change the font, as well as enable Portable WordWeb to always be on top of other applications, display vulgar and offensive words, show synonyms as root words, and more.
