Calcute is a free easy to use expression evaluator that can be used as an alternative to the calculator in Windows. it supports scientific functions such as logarithms and exponents, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions, normal and inverse.
Calcute lets you enter a complete expression as if you were using a regular text editor. You can see what you are doing so you can easily make corrections. Type what you want to calculate, press Enter to get the answer.
The calculator keypad can remain hidden or it can be shown if you prefer to click buttons with the mouse instead of typing.
It can be adjusted to suit your needs: change the fonts, show or hide calculator buttons used with the mouse; adjust their size as well. You can switch the work area to single line mode so that it looks like a plain desk calculator.
Stretch the window to any size: shrink it down to a small utility window stashed in a corner of your screen, or maximize it in multi-line edit mode for complete editing flexibility.
