DVDStyler Portable

This is the portable version of DVDStyler, a program that enables you to burn videos to disc and to fully customize elements from the layout, such as DVD menus.

Since DVDStyler Portable Edition can be installed as a portable product, you can store it on a removable device (like a USB flash drive), store it on any computer and directly run its executable file.

More importantly, the Windows registry does not receive new entries and items are not left after program removal.

The interface of the app is clean and pretty intuitive. You can start a new project by specifying the disc label and capacity, video quality, default title post command, aspect ratio, along with the audio and video format (PAL or NTSC, MP2 or AC3 respectively).

In the following step you can select the disc title and DVD menu template; there are several options than can be found in 'Basic' and 'Travel'. You can edit button names and add video files by using the 'drag and drop' functionality or Explorer-based layout. Inserting new objects is possible, such as ellipses, rectangles, frames, buttons, images and text.

Plus, you can change the grid size and color, paste items from Clipboard and configure DVD menu properties when it comes to the background image, aspect ratio, color, buttons (e.g. start and end time) and video objects (e.g. cells, actions, pause time), among others.

The project can be saved for further customization. DVDStyler Portable Edition allows you to use the undo and redo functions, as well as add files, files as chapters and titles from DVDs. From the 'Configuration' menu you can change the interface language and set the undo history size.

The DVD video processing tool requires a moderate amount of system resources, is very responsive and includes user's guide. We have not come across any errors in our tests and DVDStyler Portable Edition did not freeze or crash.

DVDStyler Portable Edition is a very good tool for creating and customizing DVD videos that you can always carry with you when you're on the go.
