Portable es-Builder

Designed as the portable edition of es-Builder, Portable es-Builder is a resourceful piece of kit which comprises custom tools and settings for putting together your own information structure, whether we're talking about contacts, appointments, tasks, notes, daily journals, or the financial budget, to name some examples.

Provided that you have .NET Framework installed on your PC, you don't need to set up anything else. You can save the program files in any part of the HDD and just click the executable to launch es-Builder.

Otherwise, you can store it on a USB flash drive to directly run it on any PC. More importantly, it doesn't create new entries in the Windows registry.

Wrapped up in a professionally-looking interface with a well-structured layout, es-Builder lets you start a new book by filling in some information, as well as open a default sample book to get familiarized with the tool.

You can add entries with employee personal and work information, create tables from scratch with custom names, captions, groups, default values, input masks, display formats and descriptions, generate views, assign tags, examine charts and reports, as well as schedule tasks and send emails.

It is also possible to apply an administrator password, pack the book to free up space or back up its contents to file, configure MSSQL connection options, study a list with global constants, and so on.

You can allow multiple books to open at the same time, modify the default directories for personal documents, categories, templates, lookup locations and automatic backups, disable warnings when deleting records, as well as apply a custom style to the UI.

We haven't come across any problems in our testing as far as stability goes, thanks to the fact that es-Builder didn't hang, crash or pop up error messages. It left a small impact on computer performance, using low CPU and RAM.

On the other hand, es-Builder is clearly not a tool designated for beginner users, due to its comprehensive set of options and configuration settings. Otherwise, it has all the necessary means to help advanced users create personalized information structures from scratch.
