MyPrivacyKey description
A security suite that allows you to secure your vital information.
MyPrivacyKey is a suite of software tools that help protect your privacy in the digital form.
The software uses industrial strength public-key cryptography to secure your data stored on your hard drive, removable media, transmitted on the Internet, etc.
MyPrivacyKey is designed to be portable so that you can carry it with you and use it anywhere you can find a computer to use.
With this design goal in mind, it targets to run on any removable media such as a USB flash drive with a very small footprint. MyPrivacyKey won't need any installation onto the host PC before use.
When using USB flash drive or other removeable storage media, do follow the required procedures of your operating systems before unpluging your USB flash drive or other removeable media. Failing to do so may cause data loss.
You have been warned!
On
some Windows systems, you are required to stop your USB flash drive before unplugging it. When a USB drive is plugged in, you will see an icon (Safely Remove Hardware) on your system tray. You can click this icon and choose something like "Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device" to do so.
MyPrivacyKey uses GnuPG as its cryto engine, which runs behind the scene to secure your information. A Crypto Engine is a software tool that employs the knowledge of Cryptography to securely manage information through methods such as encryption and digital signature.
Here are some key features of "MyPrivacyKey":
