Portable FileVoyager

Portable FileVoyager allows you to organize the files stored on your computer in any way you prefer, by duplicating, moving, renaming or deleting them. The program enables you to preview each file, thanks to the integrated tools, as well as to pack/unpack the selected entries. It can even play media files.

Portable FileVoyager is built by the OFM model, the Orthodox File Manager, which features a dual-view panel. The workspaces are divided by a floating toolbar, which you can move or detach from the main interface.

Portable FileVoyager offers a large array of management tools, including opening the files, duplicating them, moving, renaming or editing them. You can delete the selected items by sending them to Recycle Bin or permanently erasing them. Moreover, the program allows you to archive or unarchive them.

The supported archive formats include ZIP, 7Zip, GZip, BZip, XZ, Tar and WIM formats. ARJ, CAB, XAR, Z, RAR, LZH, LZMA, ISO or WIM are supported only for unpacking.

Portable FileVoyager supports browsing the local disks, folders, both real and virtual, shares, archives, FTP or FTPS locations. You can view the files as lists or as thumbnails in a dynamic gallery.

The program allows you to preview the files, in various modes, based on their format, with the help of the embedded viewer or in a separate window. The preview modes are Text, Binary, HEX, Unicode, U-Hex, RTF, MM, Windows, Web, PDF or NTFS Summary/PE Info. The file can easily be translated into one of these modes by switching the tabs.

Portable FileVoyager features numerous shortcuts to default folders, such as Documents, Libraries, Desktop or favorite custom locations. Moreover, you can easily access the file compressing tool, create a shortcut for a certain file straight on the desktop, fax or email the selected document. You can also view the file/folder size near each entry and edit the items in notepad.
