Portable EF Duplicate MP3 Finder

This is the portable version of EF Duplicate MP3 Finder, an application with a title that pretty much explains its functionality - it allows you to locate duplicate MP3 audio tracks so that you can remove them and free up space on your computer and MP3 player.

Since installation is not required, you can store Portable EF Duplicate MP3 Finder on a removable drive, plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file. What's more important is that your Windows registry keys will remain intact.

The interface of the tool is plain and simple to work with. The first thing you can do is create a new preset by specifying its name and destination.

You can add folders and drives via the tree view (the "drag and drop" method is not supported), enable the tool to use similarity for a specific match percentage and add more limitations (e.g. album, track, genre).

You can add file masks and remove items, select attributes (archive, read only, system, hidden), as well as set date, time and length constraints. Once results are displayed, you can check out the name, path, artist, title, album, track number, genre, bit rate, duration and type of each file.

You can play songs in the default media player, copy, move, rename and delete files, export results to TXT, CSV or HTML, view file properties, select all duplicates, test the similarity, map a network drive, customize the toolbar, change the interface language, and others.

The simple-to-use program requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots, quickly finishes a scan task, has a good response time and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests.
