Portable Office Exec

Portable Office Exec is a lightweight Windows tool designed to help users lunch applications from USBs without having to install them on the computer.

Since this is a portable version, it is important to mention that the program doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you to need to run application on the fly.

It sports a clean and straightforward interface that allows users to select from various categories, namely antivirus (e.g. Avira Antivirus, Avast! Virus Cleaner Tool, McAfee Stinger), office (DeepBurner, Portable Firefox, Portable Thunderbird), system (e.g. RegSeeker, NT Registry Optimizer, MemTest, Restoration), or miscellaneous products (e.g. HoverSnap, DriverView, MyUinstaller, ProduKey).

Portable Office Exec gives users the possibility to add their own programs to the list by specifying the application number and name, selecting the EXE file, and uploading an image for the program’s icon (BMP, GIF, ICO).

Since it doesn’t pack many configuration settings, even less experienced users can master the process with minimum effort.

During our testing we have noticed that the tool carries out a task quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It manages to remain light on the computer resources, so it doesn’t hamper system performance, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
