TransBar Portable

This is the portable version of TransBar - a lightweight and easy-to-use program which provides you with a simple customization feature for your system, allowing you to adjust the transparency level of the taskbar.

Since TransBar does not include a setup pack, you can store the app on a USB flash drive or any other similar storage device, save it to any computer and directly run its executable file.

What's more important is that the Windows Registry does not receive new entries, and no leftover files can be found on the hard drive after program removal. Plus, you can always have TransBar with you when you're on the move.

The utility is packed in a standard interface with an intuitive layout, allowing first-time users to seamlessly figure out its functions, since there are no other features available aside from the ones visible in the main application window.

By default, the transparency is automatically applied to the taskbar, but you can disable this option, as well as make TransBar automatically run at system startup. All you have to do is move a slider and preview the changes made to the taskbar in a built-in screen.

The tool has a good response time to mouse events and instantly applies changes to the taskbar. It uses a very low amount of CPU and system memory and worked smoothly throughout our application, without freezing, crashing or displaying error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, TransBar can be handled by users with no experience in software applications. Unfortunately, no recent updates have been made.
