Addressing programmers who want to integrate calendar-related functionality into their applications, ExCalendar is a library entailing two different components. To be more specific, it incorporates not only a simple version but also a drop-down edition.
Regardless of your option, you may want to know that the range of dates you can choose from should cover your needs, and support for images, tooltips, colors, and font attributes is provided.
The library opens the door to both single and multiple selection and allows the users to scroll from month to month. A date spinner is also included, and working with recurring events is an option. Moreover, it supports non-selectable dates, lets you indicate non-working days, and more.
Another aspect you may want to be aware of is related to the fact that you have the possibility of opting for a custom skin in order to personalize the library’s looks without putting too much effort into the entire task.
It should also be noted that ExCalendar comes with support for both 32- and 64-bit architectures and is designed to works as a COM / ActiveX, ANSI / UNICODE, .NET Assembly, or WPF component. As for the programming languages it is compatible with, C++, C#, VB, VB.NET, VFP, HTML, Access, Delphi, and more are among them.

What's new in ExCalendar 22.0.0.1:
- The ExecuteTemplate() method can return the value of a variable. For instance, the eXSurface's PointToPosition method uses variables by reference which is not supported in PowerBuilder. For that you can use a code like ExecuteTemplate("dim x,y;x=-1;y=-1;PointToPosition(x,y);x") that returns the x-position (surface's coordinates) of the current mouse pointer. In the same manner you can use ExecuteTemplate("dim x,y;x=-1;y=-1;PointToPosition(x,y);y") to return the y-position.
- error BC30456: 'RuntimeKey' is not a member of 'wpf.exontrol.EXCALENDARLib.excalendar' (/WPF)
