PC Editor is a feature-rich text editor that can be used as an alternative to the Windows Notepad. It features basic editing and formatting tools, a TextClip to store important text files, and a style manager that can be used to automatically personalize the content with one click.

It's wrapped in an outdated yet clear-cut interface that offers support for multiple opened windows to help you modify numerous documents at the same time. The app supports TXT, RTF, HTML and HTM file formats. Sadly, for the HTML items, there is no sytax highlighting system implemented.

PC Editor lets you cut, copy and paste content from another source, find and replace words with others, and go to a specific line. You can customize the text with font styles, colors, sizes and types, as well as change the background tone.

Unfortunately, the app doesn't offer the choice to insert images, small tables, symbols, HTML tags or special characters (e.g. omega, trademark, euro, dollar). From the "Options" menu, you have the option to hide the toolbar, disable the auto-capitalization and auto-scroll, and wrap the text to the window.

Plus, it's possible to convert the letters to uppercase and lowercase, combine lines, add space and tab to space. A nice feature is the option to enter important content to the TextClip and later open it with just one click. Compared with other similar word editors, the tool lets you save the formatting style applied to the current draft to a list that can later be used in another document.

Taking everything into account, Pc Editor is a reliable application that comes in handy for those who want a simple yet efficient text editor to compose drafts and customize them with colors and fonts. You can open and edit HTML files and save the current formatting style, which you can use later in another document.
