Luckily, specialized software utilities like Ampare STOF give you the possibility to schedule activities so by the time you fetch your morning coffee all needed applications are open and waiting.

The overall design of the application is kept to a minimum to ensure that scheduling does not take more time than manually opening everything you need. Processes you set are displayed in a list along with the exact time and file path or command line.

Hitting the “Add” button brings up a small window with several options available. You are required to set the date and time after which you choose what to include in the schedule. Amongst running applications or opening any type of file, the application lets you kill a process, program mouse clicks, as well as imputing a manual command which includes all of the above and your computer's power options.

When your schedule list is ready, you can minimize the application to the system tray to no longer take up precious space on your desktop. Unfortunately, there is no implemented hotkey support that allows you to quickly bring it back up.

Moreover, seeing how its core function is creating a schedule, it is a pity that there is no option that allows you to simply set a reminder or alarm. However, writing down an important event in a text document, program it to run at a given time along with a sound file can help you bypass this flaw.

Ampare STOF is not a professional application when it comes to scheduling but it does put several options at your disposal that serve their purpose well. It's not the best looking piece of software available and it knows it, because it lets you change the background of the main window to suit your style. Overall, it helps you start the work day a little easier.
