While the app is designed as a low-cost solution, you should know that you still require basic hardware to get results, meaning a standard camera and a hand-held laser.

The main window features an area where you can preview the scan, another where you can save the project and configure the camera settings and a third region where you can access the options and features of the toolbar menus.

It is worth mentioning that the program works on the principle of structured light scanning. Not only do you obtain those hard 90 degrees angles seamlessly, but the process is more accurate and reliable overall as you do not need to scan anything manually.

Once you set up the camera and laser, you can starting calibrating the frames horizontally, vertically or in both directions at the same time. You can set up the pattern parameters, adjust the white balance, grab or erase textures, align the frames, tweak the sharpness, etc.

You can also capture frames during the scan and save them as separate objects (SLT, OBJ, PLY file formats) that you can use in your other projects.
