The Eye4Software Coordinate Calculator is a very easy to use tool, to perform transformations between different map datums and / or projections. The software can be used to transform a single coordinate or a batch of coordinates read from a comma separated textfile.
Supported map projections are Transverse Mercator, Stereographic, Lambert 1SP and Lambert 2SP. The software is shipped with a database containing almost every ellipsoid, datum and map projection around. It is possible to modify the definitions of all datums and projections stored in the database.
You can also create user defined grids and datums, so you can extend the database with newly introduced map datums by entering the ellipsoid parameters and helmert 7 datum shift parameters, new map grids or projections can be added by just entering the projection type, origin latitude and/or longitude, scale factor, false easting and/or northing and parallel meridians in case of Lambert projections.
Supported map projections include: Transverse Mercator (regular and south orientated), Universal Transverse Mercator, (Hotine) Oblique Mercator, Swiss Oblique Mercator, Mercator, Oblique Stereographic, Polar Stereographic, Cassini, Albers Equal Area Conic, Polyconic, Mollweide, Gauss Kruger, Krovak, Lambert Azimuthal Equal Area and Lambert Conformal Conic projection (regular and west orientated).
Here are some key features of "Eye4Software Coordinate Calculator":
The Eye4Software Coordinate Calculator can perform transformation between the following projections:
· Lambert 1SP projections
· Lambert 2SP projections
· Transverse Mercator projections
· Stereographic projections
The following calculations are supported:
· Transformation from Lat/Long to a specific chart projection
· Transformation from Lat/Long to Lat/Long, converting to another map datum
· Transformation from specific chart projection to Lat/Long
· Transformation from one chart projection to another
· Transformation between different Lat/Long formats
Limitations:
· 7-day trial
