Cookie Monster is an easy to use Windows application developed to help you manage and delete cookies created by the popular browsers out there, be they Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
The intuitive interface is the one that makes everything very easy to use, mostly because it boasts fairly straightforward tools with most of the options displayed right in the main window.
Users are allowed to save some of the cookies by placing them in a “protected” panel, so they can delete all cookies or only the selected ones, while the protected items remain untouched.
Additionally, you can save the protected list, while the bottom of the main window is being used to show cookie information, such as name, value, expiring date, creation date and cookie file.
Cookie Monster has been designed to work with the most popular browsers on the market, so it can detect cookies created by Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera, with dedicated options in the settings menu to input the cookies folders.
There are also a few other settings to play with, which means that Cookie Monster can show a confirmation dialog for cookies removal, show cookie information, check opened browsers before removal, save protected cookies list on exist and auto-refresh cookie list.
Cookie Monster works like a charm on all Windows versions and in most cases it automatically detects the available browsers for any installed browser.
All in all, this is quite a good way to improve privacy, offering not only very easy to use options, but also support for the common browsers on the market.
