Interface-wise, the application is dull, offering a limited amount of buttons. You cannot resize the window to preview all the information at the same time. It is a minor issue, but it eventually gets frustrating.

When you add a new site to your list, you can add a variety of information to the backup process. You can organize pages into several groups, or you can download them to a specified location of your choosing.

There is also the possibility of downloading and backing up the corresponding database. Unfortunately, only the SQL format is supported and only if you have credentials such as host, user, pass, name, etc.

All the data you backup or download is saved to a file with a custom format. This means you cannot preview the information similar to an offline browser. However, you can add a layer of protection by setting a password for the file.

In conclusion, WebUp is a software solution for users who require a means of backing up their websites. It provides significant functionality, but the process is not always straightforward. You receive occasional errors, and there are not guides or help files to point you in the right direction or clarify matters for you. Nonetheless, the application is free to use at your discretion.
