SSuite Office - File Backup Master

Creating data backups is a mandatory task you have to carry out to make sure important files and folders on your computer are safe. SSuite Office - File Backup Master or, in short, File Backup Master, is one of the applications that can give you a helping hand in this matter.

Although not too complex in functionality, SSuite Office - File Backup Master does come with the basic backup toolbox that helps you create secure copies of your data.

Its main window looks a bit rudimentary, with its three panels and large buttons for primary functions. While it might be tempting to start pressing buttons at first, clicking on them has no effect unless you create a backup task first. The application enables you to assign a relevant name to the backup task and to select the destination folder. You can choose network folders but, on the downside, cloud or FTP server backups are not possible.

Once a backup task is selected, you can start adding the source files and folders using the designated buttons. As it can also perform incremental backups and not just full ones, SSuite Office - File Backup Master remembers the files and folders you previously added to the backup job. Evidently, you can add new entries to the list anytime.

It only takes a button click to start the backup. The application did hang a bit during our tests, although the input files were not that many and their total size was relatively small. In other words, it might happen that you experience backup lags, which might make the application seem unresponsive. Usually, the backup finishes with success if you leave the application complete the task.

SSuite Office - File Backup Master does not impress with its feature set, but more with its simplicity. Unlike other applications of its kind, it does not allow the easy management of backup tasks, it cannot restore data and it does not come with a data synchronization module. On the other hand, it is easy to get around to.
