PrimeCores is a small application that benchmarks your processor cores. Starts looking for prime numbers and start from 10000000, the research continues for 30 seconds. Faster PCs discover more prime numbers, every prime number discovered, computes its square root, all calculations generated in memory are compared with static tables already stored in this application.
The application consists of 5 independent modules. The principal Module is responsible for synching other modules that generate correct calculations, the four modules that generate the calculations are optimized for each core present within the CPU; each core has its separate process coupled with the corresponding Module.
At the end of the entire cycle you may consider whether any core are defective, or slower than others, the verification results that the cores work without errors in overclocked machines.
