In comparison to similar programs, MD5 Calculator has some disadvantages. Probably the most important one is that you cannot use it to compare two different files.

While it allows you to calculate the checksum of huge files in a relatively short time, you cannot process more than one file at once. There is other software application from the same category that can display multiple hash types at the same time for a certain file.
