Auto Shutdown Genius is an application that you can use to schedule a power management option for your computer. It supports multiple tasks.

The interface of the tool is clean and easy to navigate through. Auto Shutdown Genius can be easily used by all individuals, whether they are beginners or experts.

You can add a new task by specifying its type (e.g. daily, once, while idle, CPU usage).

But you can also establish the running times and details (e.g. run on a specific date and time), along with the start date and action (e.g. power off, hibernate, turn off monitor, lock workstation).

Furthermore, you can edit or delete selected tasks, as well as view and clean a log file. The program also comes with some standard options (e.g. auto minimize applications to the tray on system launch, play a sound before the action is activated, clear the Recycle Bin or Internet Explorer cache) but they are not configurable in the unregistered version, unfortunately.

The lightweight application runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory (which is barely noticeable) and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Everything worked smoothly. There's also a tutorial with snapshots that you can check out. Putting aside the trial limitations, we strongly recommend Auto Shutdown Genius to all users.
