LogonStudio XP is an application designed to help you customize the operating system, be it Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.

The program has been specifically designed with a single goal in mind: to allow users change the logon screen with just a few clicks, and as far as we're concerned, it does it in the easiest possible way.

The interface is so easy to use that you need only a few clicks to set up a new logon screen, but there are several other goodies in the app as well.

As said, the main purpose of the program is to lend you a hand when trying to change the logon screen, so there are multiple built-in items waiting for you. Plus, you can download new screens from the Internet and open them with LogonStudio XP using the dedicated “Load” button.

But the most interesting thing is that the application also gives you the power to create your very own logon screen. Sure, the whole thing is quite simple, because the only thing you have to do is to pick the background, but it's still nice to use your own photos as a logon screen.

If we were to pick something great about the app, we would go for the overall purpose, as it manages to change the logon screen quick and easy, without even needing a computer reboot.

On the other hand, a few improvements here and there would be great, including a preview tool to see the new logon screen without applying the settings.

But all in all, it's still a great product and, what's more, it's a great product available for free.
