Preme

Preme is a practical software utility that permits you to alter the behavior of active windows of any applications. It does not require previous experience to work with, making it accessible to all types of users.

The installer has a simple and elegant appearance and requires you to select the setup mode: you can either control all types of windows by applying elevated privileges, or install Preme without them. In the next window, the application shows details with the exact actions it takes to set itself up.

Once launched, Preme creates an icon in the taskbar notifications area and immediately becomes activate. It is possible to turn it off temporarily instead of exiting it. The configuration area is made of a simple and elegant window similar to the installer, and it contains several options regarding windows that can be enabled and disabled with one click.

It is possible to make a window stay on top of other frames by just holding down the left click on the titlebar for a couple of seconds, exit a window by pressing the mouse wheel or hitting the Escape button twice, as well as to minimize a window by scrolling the mouse wheel downward and maximize it by scrolling upward.

You can hold the left-click on the minimize button of a window and drag it toward the direction you want the window to hide when it's not active, hold the left-click on on the maximize button to change the window's position on the screen, right-click the close button to open a list of available commands (always on top, touch slide, arrange), and so on.

Preme offers support for keyboard shortcuts, exception lists, silent updates, and so on. It can be easily uninstalled and runs on low CPU and RAM, so it does not hog system resources. However, its options are not very intuitive and there is no complete help documentation available. Nevertheless, Preme comes packed with some very useful settings for manipulating windows.
