Software Translator is a tool that allows you to translate all your applications in another language.
The interface of the program is plain and simple. You can select the source and target language. In the lower side of the screen you can view a list of loaded applications, as well as a dictionary.
Thus, you can import one or more programs by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method. Simply use the File menu or context menu to run a process.
In addition, you can remove an application from the list, change the viewing mode (e.g. large icons, details), as well as configure application properties (e.g. lexicon, capture user interface) and general settings (e.g. updates).
Furthermore, you can add, change or delete words in the dictionary, as well as use a search function for text.
The program uses a low amount of resources and includes an online manual. It doesn't actually change the original text of other applications, so if you want their translated version, you have to use Software Translator every time.
However, the tool is unable to translate text found in descriptions, guidelines and so on. It basically works on generic areas (e.g. buttons, tabs).
Also, after a certain point, the program failed to perform. Restarting it didn't correct the problem, so we had to reinstall Software Translator.
The bottom line is that Software Translator would be a very good tool for translating applications into another language. However, it is quite unstable at this point.
