Update Rollup 1.0 for Windows XP Embedded enables OEM customers to use some Windows Vista components on the Windows XP Embedded

Update Rollup 1.0 for Windows XP Embedded will enable OEM customers to use some of the latest Windows Vista components on the Windows XP Embedded platform, including Windows Media Player 11, Internet Explorer 7, Remote Desktop Connection 6, User Mode Driver Framework and .NET Framework 3.0.

Update Rollup for Windows XP Embedded Evaluation Edition also includes hotfixes for Windows XP Embedded SP2 Feature Pack 2007. The Update Rollup 1.0 for Windows XP Embedded is not a stand alone product; it requires the developer to have Windows Embedded Studio tool suite installed.

Instructions
1. Click "save" on the download dialog box. The download is saved as a .iso image on your location of choice.
2. Extract the disk image and run setup.
3. Follow the instructions on the setup screen to update tools, database or both.

· Memory: 256 MB RAM minimum, 512 MB or higher recommended
· Storage: 20 MB Hard Disk space
· Display: VGA or higher-resolution monitor, 1024 x 768 recommended
· Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later

Database-only install:
· OS: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 (or later) or Windows XP Professional minimum; Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 4 (or later) recommended
· Memory: 128 MB RAM minimum, 256 MB or higher recommended
· Storage: 3.04 GB Hard Disk space
· Display: VGA or higher-resolution monitor
· Misc: Network Connection

Tools & Database combined installation on single computer:
· OS: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4 (or later) or Windows XP Professional
· Memory: 256 MB RAM minimum, 512 MB or higher recommended
