It's easy to get to know your computer; you just need an advanced application and some knowledge in this regard to learn all about your hardware. And the Internet is full of this kind of software solutions but, as always, there's one that claims to have all you'd ever need.
It's called AIDA64 Extreme Edition, previously known as Everest, and offers one of the most detailed reports we've ever seen for such an application. The amount of information it provides is amazing and you won't really need another tool for learning more things about the hardware hidden under the hood of your computer.
The installation process doesn't pose any complications and the interface of the program is extremely clean and organized. The information is categorized in a manner similar to the standard Windows Device Manager; the difference is considerable though, as AIDA64 Extreme Edition displays much more detailed reports.
In just a few words, AIDA64 Extreme Edition can do whatever you want and is able to provide you with a complete set of statistics for every single hardware part of your computer, including temperature, voltage and cooling fan monitoring, hard disk drives transfer speed, optical drives details and many more.
Plus, the application includes a well-developed benchmark section that allows you to measure CPU, FPU and memory information and compare the results with other similar hardware. The developer updates the hardware list every once in a while, so the information offered by the software is always up to date. It has support for more than 35 languages in order to reach its maximum potential wherever it's being used.
