Computer Usage Timer is a handy piece of software designed to silently time how long the computer is in use. The program detects if the keyboard and mouse are actively being used and thus states if the system is in use.
In the report window you can see when someone started using the computer, when they stopped and the total time for that session.
Computer Usage Timer also includes the ability to password-protect the application so no one but you can view the reports. If you don't need this utility for parenting, it still is fun to see how long you sit in front of a computer during the day.
