The application is a registry/disk monitoring tool

SpyMe Tools is a very usefull application which can detect Registry and Disk changes.

You can do a Real Time Monitoring or you can scan the active state of the Registry/Disk and compare it to a previous state. This is usefull because you'll save the scan Dump in a file so whenever you want you may open that file to see the state of the Disk(s)/Registry just as it was when you've performed the scan process.
