Auto Refresh

Since not all browsers on the market come with a dedicated feature to allow users set auto-refresh on a specific webpage, a separate application able to do that might come in handy.

This purpose is exactly what Auto Refresh was designed to serve. Just like its name suggests, this application enables you to provide an URL and have that page automatically reloaded at a certain interval of time.

There's nothing too fancy or complicated about this lightweight tool and the great thing is that it does not require installation, you simply run the stand-alone executable file.

In addition to that, you should know that the Windows registry is not going to be affected, and you can use it on the fly, on any PC you come in contact with, by simply moving the program files to a removable storage unit.

As expected, the interface is pretty basic, making the whole program extremely easy to use. All you need to do is load the webpage you wish to process, set the amount of time for the refresh interval and just click "Ok."

During our tests, Auto Refresh worked well and did what it is supposed to without glitches. However, the resource usage was noticeable, which means that it might cause a few problems on older systems.

This software is a good choice, in case your browser does not come with such a functionality. It is simple and suitable to all types of users, including beginners.
