Although most browsers out there already come with dedicated features to allow users auto-refresh a desired website, a separate application able to do that might come in very handy for many of you.
Well, that’s exactly what Auto Refresh is able to do and nothing more. Just like its name suggests, this is an application that’s able to automatically refresh a given website at a certain interval of time.
There’s nothing too fancy or complicated, there’s not even an installer, as the application is delivered as a stand-alone executable file that gets you straight to the main window.
Of course, the interface is pretty basic, making the whole program extremely easy to use. All you need to do is to load the website or the page you wish to refresh, set the amount of time for the refresh and start the procedure per se.
Although we’ve heard a handful of users complaining that it slows down the computer a little bit, everything worked pretty smooth during our testing, no matter the Windows version we’ve tried it on.
As expected, this thing comes with a freeware license so in case you’re looking for an auto refresher able to help you check your web-based email every once in a while, be sure to try this one. But the same thing can be easily done with the in-built browser functions as well, so it’s only up to you.
