Vit Registry Fix is a small and free program that you can use to fix the Windows registry entries.

Installing this software is very easy, and its interface is quite intuitive. You can view the categories of files that Vit Registry Fix can look into, perform a scan on all of them, and repair the problems (i.e. Fix Error).

Categories include ActiveX and COM, File Types, Application Paths, Startup, Shared Files, Uninstall Programs, History List, Start Menu, Fonts, Help Files, Sounds, Deep Scan, and Shortcuts.

Scanning does not take much time (including Deep Scan), and before fixing the errors, Vit Registry Fix creates an automatic backup, in case something goes wrong. But it does not do this before deleting software registry entries.

Furthermore, Vit Registry Fix comes with four extra applications - Vit Registry Optimizer, Vit Disk Cleaner, Vit StartUP Manager and Vit Uninstall Manager. Unfortunately, the default language for this apps in Ukrainian, but do not despair. Simply look for the "Language" section to change it (in Disk Cleaner you find it in the third tab).

You may experience some headaches with Vit Registry Optimizer at first (the program freezes for a few seconds/minutes), but it is very effective (creates a new registry and eliminates all structural mistakes).

Disk Cleaner takes care of any content found in Windows temporary files, user temps, the prefetch folder, recent files, log files, memory dump, BAK files, old files, and others, while StartUP Manager lets you configure the applications which automatically run at computer startup.

Last but not least, Uninstall Manager gives you permission to uninstall software from your computer. This can be particularly useful if Windows' uninstall manager does not display everything.

The fact of the matter is that Vit Registry Fix takes care of the most sensitive data of your computer (while taking up a small amount of system memory), but not before taking precautions (i.e. creates backups). It is small, simple, effective, and we definitely recommend it to all users (especially the advanced ones).
