One neat advantage is that you don’t have to go through a setup process for the application to work, which means you can easily store it on an USB flash drive to use on other computers as well. The computer’s health status stays clean because no new registries need to be created, nor existing ones modified.

Upon launch, a compact main window shows up, putting all of the application’s features in plain sight. Although wrapped around a classic window frame, this simplicity makes it easy for you to identify operations and values you need to set, just so you don’t get stuck along the way.

The scan target needs to be a specific drive, with the possibility to also pick a removable one. These are selected from a drop-down menu, but you need to know letter correspondence, because the name of the drive or volume is not shown.

With the drive selected, pressing scan initiates the whole process. It can take a bit of time until it’s done, but this mostly depends on your hard disk drive’s type, as well as the amount of junk files that resides in your computer. When detected, elements are shown in a list.

You don’t really get to see what files are going to be removed, with the only hind being categories, such as temporary files, thumbnail cache, or help support files. Size is also shown just so you get an idea of how much space you get back. Pressing the Delete button makes sure they’re removed, but not before selecting the items of interest from the list.

Even after a short while of using Windows, it can still get filled with a variety of junk files, but this application neatly capable of handling the task.
