Improving Windows XP’s performance is not a kid’s job, as it requires some computer knowledge here and there, just to be sure that the things you do won’t break down the operating system.
Tweak-XP Pro on the other hand is addressed to both beginners and power users, so you won’t have any problem getting under the hood of your Windows XP with this application.
Specifically designed to optimize the operating system, Tweak-XP Pro comes with a very user friendly interface, although we reckon that it might seem a bit overwhelming at the first glance.
Features and options everywhere you look, that’s how a first-time user might describe Tweak-XP Pro’s interface.
Actually, all features are nicely organized in the main window, so that you quickly choose which one you wish to use, regardless if we’re talking about system tweaks, Windows tweaks, Windows utilities or Internet tweaks.
Each of this option comes with its very own set of settings, which means it lets you enhance almost every single bit of your Windows XP operating system.
Under the System Tweaks for example you can find hardware tweaks, task and process monitor, memory optimization, cache optimization and many, many other tiny utilities.
The program worked pretty fast during our test and after a few minutes spent optimizing certain parts of the operating system, Windows XP indeed seemed to work faster, but it could very well be a placebo effect.
All in all, Tweak-XP Pro is a great tool to try when you’re in trouble with the operating system, so buying a license to unlock its full powers might not be such a bad idea after all.
