Windows 7 Little Tweaker
Windows 7 Little Tweaker is an application that gives you access to modify some settings on your operating system.
The program doesn't need to be installed. Since it's portable, you can store it on a removable device and run it on any computer. More importantly, your system's registry will not suffer any modifications.
The interface of the tool consists of a simple window in which you can modify the tweak list.
So, you can add the "Copy to" or "Move to" options in the Explorer context menu, as well as enable to automatically end the task of programs that are hanged.
But you can also decrease the menu show delay time, as well as disable the low disk space check and searching for a program that doesn't exist anymore.
Furthermore, you can add the "Take ownership", "Command Prompt here", "Open with Notepad" and "Delete folder content" options in the context menu, speed up Explorer navigation and the taskbar thumbnail preview, as well as disable User Account Control and the "search on Internet" prompt in "Open with".
If you select an option, then you can view its description on the bottom part of the screen. Plus, you can refresh the view, create a backup REG file and restore settings to their default values.
The small tool runs on very low system resources and only requires system reboot when you want to disable the User Account Control. We haven't occurred any errors during our tests.
However, we would have liked to configure more settings regarding Windows 7, since there are ton of options out there. Even so, the software offers a quick solution for tweaking the operating system and we strongly recommend it to all users.
