Pixel Doctor 0.4

Fix LCD monitor dead pixels
Pixel Doctor is a lightweight Windows freebie developed to help you fix dead or stuck pixels on your LCD monitor.

Although this could be very well considered an application aimed at those with a bit more computer experience, Pixel Doctor relies on a very friendly approach, with all options displayed in a single window.

There’s not much to configure about Pixel Doctor and this can only be good news for those looking for a quick way to repair dead pixels, but the program still provides some very important settings.

You can for example choose the test color, which is quite important in case you’re trying to deal with stuck pixels, but also pick from two different types of tests, namely single or cycle.

Of course, all tests can be launched in full screen for the best results, with dedicated options to let you choose full screen and location methods.

Pixel Doctor boasts what’s being called “therapies”, which are actually quick color changes that could help you get rid of stuck pixels.

Just as expected, everything works like a breeze regardless of your Windows version and Pixel Doctor doesn’t hamper system performance at all.

Overall, Pixel Doctor is an interesting piece of software, but don’t expect it to do wonders. It’s just a basic application supposed to cycle some colors in full screen and thus lend you a hand when trying to deal with stuck or dead pixels.
