Stay connected to Radio Sai on the Asia Stream with this lightweight, practical little gadget which integrates with Yahoo! Widget Engine. #Radio station #Live streaming #Audio stream #Radio #Stream #Streaming
Windows brought about one good thing overall, even though not as commonly used nowadays. The item in question is the gadget engine, which inspired other services to create their own engines, such as Google Desktop and Yahoo! Widget Engine. Dedicated to the latter, Radio Sai lets you connect, and enjoy live audio streams from the homonymous radio station.
The package is pretty light, and can be easily carried around on a thumb drive along with an entire collection of gadgets to use on other computers fitted with Yahoo! Widget Engine, which is a mandatory requirement for functionality.
Just like any other gadget, default features apply here as well. This means the desktop gadget can be moved to any suitable position, have window level priority set to back or topmost, force to ignore mouse interaction, and prevent dragging to provide visual, and audio support without interfering with any activity. There’s also an opacity slider for a bit more effects.
As the name clearly points out, the gadget directly connects to Radio Sai as soon as it is launched. Needless to say that the Internet connection needs to be active for proper streaming. Note that from Bhajans, Discourse, Asia, Ameri, Afri, and Telugu streams, the gadget constantly stays connected to the Asia Stream.
