May 25, 2010- Player-Only Mode is a very simple audio player mode designed for playing back music without any complications or fuss.
- AV Easy DJ 1.0, a virtual DJ, helps users do simple DJ tasks such as re-mixing songs, adding sound FX, adjusting channels, EQ, or the included studio-quality effects.
- A new Converter module created for converting audio files makes converting tasks more convenient for users than ever.
- Former Morpher and Advanced modules are combined into one module named Morpher containing single and advanced real-time effects.
- The Wave Editor has been improved to optimize memory. It provides the following abilities when working with tracks:
- Each track can be turned on/off.
- Multi-track file stores information of effects, including which effects are being applied.
- The Track Volume can be changed.
- You can work with Track Equalizer.
- The Organizer has been redesigned and improved. These are its main new features:
- Ability to catalogue music collections by Artist, Genre, Album and Year.
- Fast sorting algorithm (now sorts large amount of tracks very quickly.)
- Drag’n’Drop feature for more convenience.
- Supports reading and writing tags for audio files.
- Includes a built-in track filter.
- Now stores tracks in database which allows working with duplicates faster.
- Supports M3U and PLS play-list formats.
- Music Morpher Gold 5.0 recognizes and plays the following audio formats: WAV, MP3, OGG, APE, FLAC, WMA, AIF, AU, NIST, IRC, CDA, WV (WavPack), SPX (Speex), MPC (Musepack), TTA (True Audio), CUE (CueSheets). Music Morpher Gold 5.0 can create/save new files into these formats: WAV, MP3, OGG, APE, FLAC, WMA, AIF, AU, NIST, IRC. Note: mp3surround Fraunhofer license required.

- Surround playback: The player supports playing surround sound. MMG 4.0 can even play MP3 stereo music like surround music with your surround speakers. The sounds to your speakers can be adjusted in real time easily and visually.
- Surround sound: MMG 4.0 lets the user customize a large range of surround sound configurations, and supports 4.0, 4.1, even 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, 7.1 front range of speakers.
- Multichannel editor: You can morph music, especially edit any number of channels using real-time stereo and surround effects. Additionally, MMG 4.0 supports editing MP3 surround sound and OGG formats.
- AV Music Morpher Gold 4.0 has New combined Voice Remover-Extractor: combine the 2 most favorite features of MMG into one easy to use module which users can do both tasks in a few seconds and in real time.
