  • Dameware 12.3 provides user interface updates and security improvements compared to previous releases. It also incorporates a licensing framework upgrade and internationalization of the interface, including availability of German and French languages. In addition, Dameware 12.3 supports Microsoft Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.
  • Dameware 12.3 fixes the following issues:
  • Performance enhancement in the speed of copying agent files to remote host in Dameware.
  • Dameware Remote Support can again access PCs using Intel KVM authentication.

  • This version of DRS provides the following improvements:
  • Mobile Support: You can now connect to MRC agents with your iPhone or iPad. Download the DameWare Mobile Client from the Apple App Store, and then install the DameWare Gateway on a server to securely connect to your remote computers.
  • New Licensing: You can automatically update your license when you update DameWare or renew your maintenance instead of manually entering new license keys. License keys from version 9.x can also use this new functionality. For more information, see KB400137.
  • Proxy Support for Silent Installs: MRC and DRS include command-line arguments to add your proxy data. For more information, see KB400113 .

  • DameWare Remote Support version 10.0 resolves the following issues in earlier versions:
  • Cannot authenticate smart cards that have more than one certificate.
  • RDP view size does not match the RDP setting.
  • Logged in user's running applications not shown.

  • This version of DRS provides the following improvements:
  • Windows 8 Support: You can now install DRS on computers running the latest Windows desktop operating system. DRS also connects to remote hosts running Windows 8.

This DWRCS9x.MSI package will install using all default settings, including Proprietary Challenge/Response authentication enabled with UserID: "admin" and Password: "1234" (without quotes). Please note this is only to allow you to establish an initial connection to this remote 9x machine. The Proprietary Challenge/Response information should be changed following your initial connection.
